Maryland Society of Professional Engineers Announces 2026–2027 Executive Committee and Board of Directors

(Elkridge, MD) – The Maryland Society of Professional Engineers (MDSPE) is pleased to announce its Executive Committee and Board of Directors for Fiscal Year 2027, effective July 1.

Entering his second year as President, Bryan Tansky, PE expressed his commitment to advancing the Society’s mission.

“I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together and energized for the year ahead,” said Tansky. “We’ll continue championing professional licensure through our legislative efforts, providing valuable educational opportunities, and advocating for engineers while supporting the members who make MDSPE such a strong organization.”

Will Zeid, PE will continue to serve as President-Elect and will also assume the role of Secretary. Immediate Past President Andrew Brown, PE will assume the newly established role of Board Representative for the revived MDSPE Making an Engineer Foundation.

Continuing in their leadership roles are Michelle Wolfe, PE as Treasurer; Tory Pierce, PE as Vice President of Legislative Affairs; Robert Crosby, PE as Vice President of Education; and Sarah Troch, PE as Vice President of Membership. Representing Maryland at the national level, James Mirabile, PE will serve as NSPE Delegate and Girija Subramaniam, PE will serve as Alternate Delegate.

Returning as Directors at Large are George Gadbois, PE; Robert Giese, PE; David Mitchell, PE; Karen Moran, PE; Kyra Swisher, PE; and Nicholas D’Angelo, PE. Joining them as Directors at Large are former Secretary Madisyn Vinyard, PE and Past President Victoria Ballestero, PE, MBA.

MDSPE also welcomes Greg Moore, PE as the newest member of its Board of Directors.

MDSPE extends its sincere gratitude to all of its volunteer leaders for their commitment to advancing the engineering profession and supporting licensed professional engineers throughout Maryland.
