Maryland Society of Professional Engineers Announces 2025–2026 Executive Committee and Board of Directors
(Elkridge, MD) – The Maryland Society of Professional Engineers (MDSPE) is pleased to announce its Executive Committee and Board of Directors for Fiscal Year 2026, effective July 1.
Bryan Tansky, PE of BGE, who previously served as Vice President of Membership, has been elected President. “It’s an honor to lead MDSPE at a time when engineering continues to shape Maryland’s future,” said Tansky. “I look forward to working alongside this outstanding board to strengthen our profession, elevate the next generation of engineers, and advocate for the issues that matter most to our members.”
William Zeid, PE, of Kimley-Horn, formerly the organization’s Treasurer, will serve as President-Elect. Michelle Wolfe, PE of KCI Technologies, has been named Treasurer, and Madisyn Vinyard, PE of ATCS will continue to serve as Secretary. Andrew Brown, PE of the Baltimore County Department of Public Works, MDSPE’s outgoing President, will continue his leadership as Immediate Past President and as Vice President of the newly formed Service Committee.
Sarah Troch, PE of the U.S. Coast Guard, is stepping into the role of Vice President of Membership. Continuing in their roles are Tory Pierce, PE of Frederick Ward Associates, as Vice President of Legislation, and Robert Crosby, PE, as Vice President of Education. Representing Maryland at the national level, James Mirabile, PE of BGE will continue as NSPE Delegate, with Victoria Ballestero, PE of ATCS serving as Alternate Delegate.
Returning Directors at Large include George Gadbois, PE of Siemens, Robert Giese, PE of RK&K, David Mitchell, PE of Charles P. Johnson & Associates, Inc., and Karen Moran, PE. MDSPE also welcomes four new members to the board: Girija Subramaniam, PE of Forcing Function LLC; Kyra Swisher, PE of Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson; Mousa Hejazi, PE of Sargent & Lundy; and Nick D’Angelo, PE of RK&K.
