MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Membership in the Maryland Society of Professional Engineers is open to Professional Engineers and people who are on the track toward licensure as a Professional Engineer.

Basic dues are $220 annually. This covers state, national and local chapter membership.

For professional engineers, we offer six-month-fee trial membership for those who have not been members.

For non-licensed engineers who are EITs, ETs, or engineering school grads, there is a sliding scale discount for recent graduates:

1st year after graduation $44.00

2nd year after graduation $88.00

3rd year after graduation $132.00

4th year after graduation $176.00

For full-time students in a engineering program accredited by ABET or an engineering or pre- engineering program that leads to engineering licensure (or international equivalent, we have a student memberskhip with free dues.

For firms, we have an Enterprise Membership, where all members from the enterprise receive a 10% discount if one check comes from the enterprise.

We also have an Associate category for firms who want to support our work.
