Join Us! - Register Today

Intended for professionals with familiarity in hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater management, and site design, this advanced course will focus on practical aspects of site and stormwater design in accordance with Environmental Site Design (ESD) as set forth in Chapter 5 of Maryland's Stormwater Design Manual.

Production design and review contexts will be explored using two popular open-sourced spreadsheet modeling tools and design examples. Participants are encouraged to download the spreadsheets (http://tinyurl.com/ovn4unl and http://mdesd.org/esd.xls) and bring laptop computers to the class to work on example design problems.

At the completion of the workshop, participants should have a well-informed understanding of the various ESD practices, design processes, site design considerations, calculations, and design examples.

Presenters:
Theodore Scott, PE, CPESC, LEED AP, MSP
Stormwater Maintenance, LLC

Tom Schueler
